Celebrate the Rain!

The Pennsylvania Resources Council is sponsoring rain barrel/watershed workshops throughout the Pittsburgh area this fall. On October 28, the workshop will be at Whole Foods Market in East Liberty, beginning at 7 p.m. Participants will learn how to harvest rainwater from their roofs, store it, and use it in their landscapes. Take advantage of this free source of precious water while also reducing sewer overflow and polluted urban runoff! The cost is $30/person or $40/couple. For more information, call 412-431-4449 x 247.
