The doors swing open on Tuesday, July 22, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at 801 N. Negley Avenue (corner of Stanton) when the Union Project welcomes the community for the Summer Block Party. Held quarterly, these block parties are an opportunity for neighbors to come together for family entertainment, a community meal, and seasonal craft projects for kid. The healthy family buffet is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under. This event is co-sponsored by the Highland Park Development Club and America Votes. Dessert trays for the Summer Block Party will be provided by our friends at Whole Foods.
