Free Homebuyers' Education Workshop

Neighborhood Housing Services (in partnership with the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation) presents a FREE homebuyers' education workshop on Saturday, May 17, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Bloomfield-Garfield Community Activity Center, 113 N. Pacific Avenue in Garfield. The workshop covers the following and more:
  • how to prepare for home ownership
  • tips on setting up and maintaining a family-friendly budget
  • credit history and credit report information
  • tips on shopping for a home
  • information on what to expect from your bank, your realtor, your home inspector, and your insurance provider
  • predatory lending and foreclosure prevention information
  • referral to Pitt Law School for FREE legal advice before signing documents
  • closing and moving-in information
  • post-purchase information

Nice essay…the work shop is covering more topics that are more useful…Hope by attending the workshop everyone and mostly home buyers can learn the more tips and tricks that are more useful in their business life.
