Mayor Attends Career Fair

Mayor Luke Ravenstahl presented a proclamation to Rick Flanagan, director of youth development for the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation and manager of the Eastside Neighborhood Employment Center, at yesterday's "Medical Career Exploration Fair" at the Kingsley Association in Larimer. At the fair, hundreds of young people and adults attended workshops on medical careers and met with representatives of schools and hospitals. They were also able to use a mobile computer lab to search online for available positions with UPMC.

A Medical Career Exploration Fair will be held on October 14th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Kingsley Association, located at 6435 Franktown Road. Come out to learn about UPMC’s current job openings, attend workshops, gain access to training programs, and meet recruiters. Exploring Medical Careers
