UPMC is proposing a 1000 - 1200 vehicle parking garage on the Luna/McKean site. The proposed entrances and exits are on Baum Boulevard and Gross Street. An exit only is being proposed for Cypress street. This will affect residents of Gross, Winebiddle, Aspen, Osceola, Powhattan, Cypress, and Woodworth Streets.
The meeting is on Tuesday, Octobber 4, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the West Wing Auditorium of Shadyside Hospital.
The Bloomfield Citizens Council is encouraging residents to attend so that they may schedule follow-up community meetings to analyze the proposed parking garage's effect on the neighborhood.
