Pittsburgh passed a gas drilling ban in November 2010. However, Pittsburgh’s ban does not guarantee that we will remain unaffected by drilling – we all live downstream from other communities. Lawrenceville Marcellus Action Group is holding a “Write Your Legislator” gathering on Sat., March 5, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., at Lawrenceville United, 4825 Butler St. Everyone is welcome to join us as we write to both our Governor and State Representative, explaining our concerns about gas drilling.
