Environmental Activist Speaks

If you saw the Oscar-nominated documentary Gasland or have been reading about the Marcellus Shale controversy in western Pa., come hear world-renowned green chemist and environmental activist Wilma Subra, winner of a MacArthur “Genius” Award, at Carlow University’s Women’s History Month event, Wednesday, March 2, from 7 to 8 p.m. Subra will talk about the environmental impact of the Gulf Oil spill and natural gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale.
