Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group (PCRG) is arranging a press conference for tomorrow, Thursday, July 23, along with a team of community organizations, including Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation, ACTION Housing, Just Harvest, PA Legal Aide Network, The Housing Alliance of Pittsburgh, NeighborWorks Western PA, Pittsburgh Partnership for Neighborhood Development, and numerous other agencies.
The purpose of the press conference is to publicly encourage our elected officials to find the funding to support our programs. The pending state budget could dramatically cut funding for the work that we do.
The press conference is scheduled for Thursday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. in the first floor conference room of the Fairmount Apartments at 5461 Penn Avenue (across from the Pittsburgh Glass Center). This is a quality of life issue for the East End and the City - it affects us all!
