The Eastside Neighborhood Employment Center (ENEC) is sponsoring two huge job fairs in October, one informational seminar and several weekly onsite employer interview sessions. Eastminster Presbyterian Church across from Home Depot is the site for a huge general job fair (35 employers!) on Oct. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also a UPMC Job Fair/Training Program on Oct. 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. The Prudential Insurance Company has an Information Seminar on Oct. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. for Pittsburgh residents who would be interested in becoming highly paid financial services representatives. ENEC is continuing its employer onsite interview programming Thursday afternoons by appointment only – call 412-362-8580 each week for the name of that week’s hiring company. AARP visits our location at 5100 Penn Avenue on Wednesdays to help residents over 40 with a free work-search assessment program and job opportunities for people over 55.
