SAD Gospel Concert

Find joy in the SAD community. Please join the Society Against Drugs (SAD) on Friday, August 22nd from 6 to 8 p.m. at Eastminister Presbyterian Church, 250 N. Highland Avenue, in East Liberty, for “Love, Peace and Happiness – Put Down the Guns and Drugs,” a gospel concert to deter violence and celebrate SAD’s 20th anniversary. SAD has been working in the community for 20 years to deter gun violence and drug-related crime through promoting positive, faith-based initiatives. Admission to the concert is $5, $1 for youth under 8 years old.

Find inspiration for change in the words of Reverend T.L. Campbell and enjoy musical performances from Leo Casino, Nikki Smith-Porter, David Bowens, Sons of Thunder, and Jackie Young. Also enjoy poetry from Susan G. Roberts, as well as local youth talent.
