Community Festival on June 1

Highlighting its mission as a space to connect, create, and celebrate, The Union Project (801 N. Negley, at Stanton) will host a Community Festival on Sunday, June 1, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in conjunction with the Highland Park Yard Sale. The free festival will feature live music, craft vendors, service providers, food specials, kids craft activities, and a chance for neighborhood connection.

Local artisans and craft vendors will be showcasing and selling their work, including a $5 ceramics Seconds Sale from Union Project's Ceramics@UP. Live music will be provided by hip-hop and soul DJ Supa C. on the turntables. Eat UP Café will be offering grab-n-go breakfasts and BBQ lunch specials, as well as car-side coffee service. Craft and creation space will be set up for kids to make their own take-home artwork.
